How to Submit to Noble Savage Review Submit your writing via e-mail to editor at the above
address. Poems and other short material that will fit into an email box may be sent directly. Be advised however that e-mail formatting (lines, spaces, etc.) is notoriously fickle . As we are loath to make decisions about the
visual presentation of your work (particularly verse), when possible it is preferable to send poems as .rtf attachments, since this preserves the formatting. Most word processors have an option in the Save As dialogue that
allows you to select Rich Text Format. Otherwise attach your submission as a document file, .doc, created in Microsoft Word Pad or Microsoft Word. Short Stories (unless they are really short) must be sent in this way. We can
also open text files, (extension .txt). We will strive to accommodate you in any way possible, keeping in mind that we will not do any but the most ephemeral typing. We want to present your work, as nearly as possible in
exactly the fashion you intended, so help us out. Please include your real name with all submissions. If you prefer to use a pen name, please specify. We will not publish under e-mail names.
No Macros, Please!
Due to the potential for maliciously transmitting “viruses” by e-mail via macros, files containing them will not be accepted. In fact they will be deleted automatically by our firewall software. Also, do not send
zip files, and, please God, no files extended by .exe, .bat, or .com.
Copyright Considerations
While our staff of copyright lawyers is a little thin at the moment, we adhere to the following: All submissions are considered copyrighted by the submitters,
except where otherwise noted and explained. The copyright holder, by default the author, retains the full copyright and reserves all rights to the material. Readers are permitted to download one copy to one computer for
private, noncomercial use, in keeping with accepted reasonable use and the dictates of conscience. Also by default, we will use the current year in the copyright notice.
